What We Do:
The County Administrator is the Chief Administrative Officer of the County, performing duties under the direction of the Board of Commissioners. Administration supervises the following functions: Purchasing, Payroll, Labor Relations, Budgeting, Capital Improvements, Information Management, Fringe Benefits, Building Operation and Maintenance, Motor Pool, Risk Management, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliance, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, Planning and Zoning, Remonumentation, the Renaissance Zone, and other related Functions. Administration also supervises the following appointed department heads: Information Management, Buildings and Grounds, Permits Office, Animal Control, Veterans Affairs, Equalization, and Emergency Management.
