Reed County Park

Reed County Park

Reed County Park was donated to the county by the Reed Family in 1975. This 100 acre park has a man-made lake great for swimming and fishing. There are five picnic pavilions equipped with grills.  A modern bathhouse provides flush toilets and is accessible to everyone.  The park has a sand volleyball court and a fenced in baseball diamond. There is a beautiful maple and beach forest great for hiking and enjoying nature.   An 18 Hole Disc Golf course was installed in the fall of 2009; disc golf is a great, low cost sport that is fun for the whole family.

Location: 1.2 miles east of I-127 on Johnson Road (approximately 1.25 miles Southeast of North Star). Click here for map.
